This fabric is closest to the first two photos and is not as dark or as blue as the third photo shows. This is a beautiful and interesting color combo of indigo blue, indigo gray, indigo purple, purple-mauve and fragments of denim blue. It reminds me of looking at far away stars in outer space.

In person this fabric is lighter and has more highlights like it shows in the first two photos. It’s not a solidly saturated as the third photo shows. This fabric does contain dark areas throughout as seen in the first two photos that are a normal part of this fabric.

This fabric is a beautiful multicolor watercolor that includes a strong yellow, rogue pink with a slight purple/mauve undertone, small areas of dark lime green, smaller areas of tangerine orange, turquoise that has more green in the undertone than what shows on the screen and spots of gray throughout the fabric where the colors meld together. The fabric looks like the first two photos and not like the second two photos.

This fabric has a blue with gray undertone and a light beige-yellow color that is happier and less dirty looking in person than what shows on my screen.

UPDATE: The current bolt of fabric appears closest to the first two photos and is light with gray-green with hints of tan-cream watercolor. They white baclground has very very light gray-green undertone. They parts of this fabric that appear white in the background are really more of a light gray-green color. The fifth photo is a comparison of two different previous Seamist dye lots with the oldest fabric on the left and the next newest fabric on the right. The current dye lot (photos 1 & 2) is not as washed-out as previous dye lot (photos 3 & 4). There are some strong areas of darker gray-green throughout the fabric as well as hints of yellow-tan.

The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos photos. This was a really difficult color to photograph. The background peach color is a little more pink than peach and has a strong color. The fish colors are lighter and more of a golden rainbow tan color rather than the more green fish that’s shown in the last photo. They have an oil slick look to them.

The actual fabric looks like the first two photos and is not as dark or as saturated in color as the third photo shows. The fabric is light and almost pastel. The background contains denim turquoise blue, cold purples, warm purples, muted mauve pinks and light dark-dusty blue colors. The dots on top have a mix of mint green/blue, chartreuse green/yellow, turquoise, off white and sometimes a tan/yellow color.
