Hoffman California – 839-112 Dawn – Mottle Watercolor Batik Fabric

This fabrics is closest to the first two photos and is not a brown or quite as dark as the third photo shows. It has a warm beige tone with soft pink-tan highlights and a dry, washed-out light denim blue color in it. In a few places near the edge of the blue, sometimes there is a turquoise green color where the tan and blue meld together. There are evident water spots on the fabric that look like water that has been dropped on the fabric when it was made – these are supposed to be there as a part of the mottle design. The coloring in this fabric covers large areas. If cutting this fabric into smaller pieces, you may only see one color in the fabric.
