This is a beautiful medium purple with hints of mauve in the background and sometimes a very slight indigo-blue undertone. This is the newest dye lot which is more muted/dusty than previous dye lots.

5/1/24: The most current bolt of this fabric appears closest to the first two photos. The previous bolt is shown in the third photo and is no longer available. The last photo is the manufacturers thumbnail image which shows this fabric as being darker than it really is.
This fabric has a warm, creamy, beige color with a slight yellow undertone but more shortbread/tan colored than yellow.
NOTE: There are random dark specks throughout this bot as shown in the first two photos. This is from the hand-dying process and should be considered as part of fabric, not a defect.

The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not as orange as the third photo shows. This fabric is a bright golden yellow/orange color with golden yellow branches on top. It’s more yellow than orange – like a yellow with an orange undertone that makes it a gold color.

In the second photo, an older version of this fabric is on the left and the current bolt of this fabric is on the right. The current bolt is very slightly more brown-undertoned than the previous bolts. This fabric is a nice medium orange color that’s slightly dusty but still strong in color, like an Autumn color on a leaf. Sometimes the leaves appear like a dark burnt beige color with not much orange in them. It remind me of a “carrot” color of orange. This fabric is not as red like the third (manufacturers) photo shows.

This fabric has very light streaks of green and red throughout it as well as turquoise areas. This fabric is a periwinkle-indigo color of medium tone and leans a little more towards the blue side rather than the purple side.
