The dots are approx. 1/4″ in diameter. The gray background has areas of yellow mixed into the gray that look like the edges of a water stain on a countertop. The gray is very close to neutral but has a slight hint of green undertone to it – just very slight.

This fabric is a medium-light indigo color that is a little more purple than it is blue. There are smaller hints of a warmer plum-purple (almost pink) color mixed into the colder indigo-purple color that is the main background. This fabric is not as blue as the third photo shows. The colors is soft and appears dusty or muted.

The most current dye lot of the actual fabric looks very close to to the first two photos. It is not as indigo colored as photos 3 and 4 and is similar to the left fabric in photo 5. It is not nearly as blue as the last (manufacturers) thumbnail image. The background is a mostly solid white color with a very, very light indigo undertone and watercolor. The color that is mixed into the watercolor areas is between a light purple and a light gray-purple color. Reminds me of a light stormy winter sky. It is about 70% white and 30% light cloudy indigo.

This fabric has an antique ivory background that’s slightly warm in tone, but with some cooler, more neutral areas in it. The sea urchins are a dark teal/aquamarine color that is almost black in some areas and a brown-gray in others.

This fabric is overall dark with areas of a very dark gray (black), deep teal, turquoise background highlights, and hints of copper orange with mottled browns. Again, most of this fabric is on the darker side with a lot of deep teals and blacks in it – a bit darker than it appears on my screen. The design on top is in teal and contains seaweed, coral reef, fish, seahorses, bubbles, sea shells and angel fish.

The current dye lot is slightly colder and has a gray-blue undertone in it with small hints of a very light peach color.
This is a lighter version of Hoffman 1895-270 Hippo.

This gray color has light gray highlights in it and in some areas, looks even lighter than what it appears on my screen. The tone of gray is close to a true light-medium gray with very light gray highlights in the watercolor.

There are soft areas where the orange and gray come together that makes the color appear like a dark dusty peach – very pretty! The background is a light ash gray and medium sandstone orange with touches of turquoise blue. The sea urchins are all in the sandstone/yam/soft burnt orange color.
UPDATE: The current dye lot of this fabric appears darker than the first two photos and lighter than the last photo. It’s in between the two.
