The current dye lot of this fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not as saturated or as teal as the last three photos show. It has a somewhat dusty and muted tone to it. Photos 3-4 are the previous bolt of fabric that I no longer have. The current background has a mix of black and a dusty teal color that’s a little more green than it is blue. The dots have gray highlights in them.

The texture appears slightly dry and has medium and dark blue tones in it. There are areas of medium-dark indigo color throughout. Tahiti leans towards the purple side of blue and where the fabric appears a little bit dry and gray is where it’s indigo (I see more indigo-purple in person than what shows on my screen).

This fabric is lighter and more muted in person than what the third photo (manufacturer’s) shows. It is still a dark navy-denim blue color with dark and medium areas of this muted blue. There are smaller areas of a more saturated and slightly indigo color mixed in with the muted blue. The fabric has two different blues and a very dark (or black) color in the dye. Skipper is very similar to Tahiti (1895-254) in shade/tone except it’s slightly more on the deep turquoise/teal side and less on the royal blue side. This fabric is also very close to Hoffman Moonstruck but is a little lighter and has lighter blue highlights in the watercolor.

The green has strong notes of a gray-blue green, forest green, and a little bit of yellow green. Some areas of the darkest green may appear close to black. There are hints of peach in patches of the dots.

The actual fabrics appear closest in color to the first three photos and is not as green toned as the last photo shows. This fabric is a medium-dark color with a very slightly warm green undertone that is close to a middle-true gray. There’s not a lot of color variation in the fabric so it appears even and saturated. It almost looks like a light washed-out black but there are no highlights (as sometimes there is with a black watercolor).
