This fabric looks close to the photo but the colors in the dots aren’t quite as strong (especially in the red color). The background has different blues that include aqua-turquoise, teal, indigo (both purple and pink-mauves) but are mostly a navy and cool dark-turquoise blue. The dots have light hints of all the rainbow colors with pink-red being the strongest color.

In person this fabric looks close to the photo with a very dark midnight blue background (close to black, but not quite) and mini dots in an off-white, light red washed-out cherry color and small hints of a light midnight blue color. Sometimes the dark blue background looks as though it has a tint of indigo (purple) color in it – depends on what you compare it to. It is not close to a true blue and leans towards purple.

It’s a very dark rich sky blue that’s not as dark as Waikiki or Cobalt but closer to a happy water/ocean/brook color of blue. It does not have a purple or a green undertone.

The actual fabric is a deep indigo-purple color that has a little less blue in it than what the first photo shows. It has a stronger color saturation in person than what shows on my screen and appears more purple than blue. It’s not as blue as either of the photos shows – it’s more purple.

This fabric is slightly lighter in color shade in person than it shows on my screen. It also has little white areas that are made into the fabric (this is not a defect). It makes the fabric look like mountains in the background where the darkest areas are with highlights of white snow peaks. These small whites areas are a part of the fabric design.
