The first and third photos are the manufacturers thumbnail images. The second photo is one that I took and is the best representation of the actual colors in this collection. This collection is warmly colored like it shows in the second photo.
This fabric is lighter and slightly more yellow and less cream than the first photo shows. It’s not quite as yellow as he second photo, but the second photo is closer to the true color. The butterflies are also less contrasting and blend into the background better than the first photo shows.

The actual fabric looks like the first two photos and is not as bright green as the last photo shows. The green background has both a light warm lime color and areas where the green has more blue in it and feels colder. Overall, the fabric is a warm green. The dots are randomly speckles with different shades of red, orange, yellow and green. There is very little blue and purple in the dots.

This fabric has an off-white background that contains a tinge of purple with pink and gray colors in the white background as well as the dots. The background is not a true white. The dots contain hints of very light warm & cold purples and grays. Mixed altogether, the dot colors appear like a mottled mauve-purple color overall. This dye lot has a stronger purple tint than previous dye lots that have more white in them.

This fabric has a white background that contains a tinge of purple/pink in the white. It’s not a true white. The dots contain hints of very light warm & cold pinks and purples (mauve), grays and sometimes an indigo color. Mixed altogether, the dot colors appear like a mottled mauve-purple color overall. It has a warm feel to it, not cold.
*Third photo: Most of the time Almond has a lighter background as shown on the left. The right contains a different dye lot that makes the background appear slightly more purple tinged and less white. Hoffman 1377-3 PFD (creamy/warm)solid white is at the top.
