This fabric is similar to the Smoke Bali Dots but is slightly more blue in the color undertone than the Smoke Bali Dots.
The fabric is definitely a medium to dark gray with very light hints of blue undertone and even less of a gray-purple undertone in places. It is not at all blue-gray like the third photo shows.

The actual fabric has a medium-dark gray background that’s close to true gray but with a hint of green cast in it. The random dots are a medium-light gray with the same slight green tint. The green tint is minimal and can really only be seen when compared to other similar grays that have a more traditional blue tint.

This fabric has an antique ivory background that’s slightly warm in tone, but with some cooler, more neutral areas in it. The sea urchins are a dark teal/aquamarine color that is almost black in some areas and a brown-gray in others.

The background is mix of medium and dark turquoise gray-blue, teal blues and medium copper oranges. There are areas of gray-brown colors where the colors meld together. The beige shark eye sea shell design is an ivory beige color that resembles white sand.
UPDATE 6/21/36: The latest dye lot of this fabric has less light turquoise blue in it and more of the darker gray-blue color. It looks closer to the third (manufacturers) photo.

The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is no as dark as the third photo. This Tin fabric is a medium gray color with both medium-light and medium dark highlights and shading. There is a rosy pink-brown color that works its way through the fabric that gives it a touch of warmth. This fabrics a very slight greenish-blue undertone to it, but is otherwise very close to what I would consider a true medium gray color.

This fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not as dark as the third photo. This gray color has light gray highlights in it and in some areas, looks even lighter than what it appears on my screen. The tone of gray is close to a true light-medium gray with very light gray highlights in the watercolor.

The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not as cold or medium gray as the third photo shows. This fabric is mostly burnt orange, then gray. There are soft areas where the orange and gray come together that makes the color appear like a dark dusty peach – very pretty! The background is a light ash gray and medium sandstone orange with touches of turquoise blue. The sea urchins are all in the sandstone/yam/soft burnt orange color.
UPDATE: The current dye lot of this fabric appears darker than the first two photos and lighter than the last photo. It’s in between the two.

The background is a light ash gray and medium copper orange with touches of turquoise blue. The sea turtles are slightly off white and the whole fabric has a warm tone to it.

UPDATE: The current bolt of fabric appears closest to the first two photos and is light with gray-green with hints of tan-cream watercolor. They white baclground has very very light gray-green undertone. They parts of this fabric that appear white in the background are really more of a light gray-green color. The fifth photo is a comparison of two different previous Seamist dye lots with the oldest fabric on the left and the next newest fabric on the right. The current dye lot (photos 1 & 2) is not as washed-out as previous dye lot (photos 3 & 4). There are some strong areas of darker gray-green throughout the fabric as well as hints of yellow-tan.

The fabric still has soft purple, turquoise blue and turquoise green throughout with highlights that are close to white swirled into the colors.
