There is slight variation of yellow color within the honeycomb, but not as much as the photo shows. Some areas of the yellow are golden while others are light and medium Tuscan Sun colored.

The tiny bees on top are a medium gray color that contains a purple/brown undertone.

The bee design is a mix of golden yellow and a green/gray color – it does not have an orange or reddish-orange coloration in the design at all. This fabric’s design color is much lighter than the other bee fabric that I have which is a tangerine orange queen bee. The bees are larger than they look and are roughly 1.75″ across the wingspan.

The watercolor background is a strong pastel rainbow color and the bumble bees are a cobalt blue color. This fabric is almost the same as 4743 but with different colored bees.

The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not quite as dark as the third photo shows. This fabric is bright, colorful, happy and strong in color in some areas. This is a brighter version of it’s pastel sister fabric 5740. It has a slightly pastel tone in some areas while other areas are rich and strong. It’s so pretty in person! The background has all the colors of the rainbow in rich tones and the design on top is cherry blossom branches with hummingbirds on them in green.
