This fabric is an aqua turquoise watercolor with a dark gray (with hints of blue and green) splash on top. It’s very unique and the aqua color is bright and happy. The variations in this fabric look like the first two photos – it’s not designed like the third photo where the gray seems to all connect together.

They white baclground has very very light gray-green undertone. They parts of this fabric that appear white in the background are really more of a light gray-green color. The fifth photo is a comparison of two different previous Seamist dye lots with the oldest fabric on the left and the next newest fabric on the right. The current dye lot (photos 1 & 2) is not as washed-out as previous dye lot (photos 3 & 4). There are some strong areas of darker gray-green throughout the fabric as well as hints of yellow-tan.

UPDATE: 6/27/23: The current bolt of this fabric featured in photos 1 & 2 is much more pastel, muted and dusty looking than previous dye lots (previous bolt is shown in photos 3 & 4). The dusty colors have an antique look to them and the main turquoise in the fabric is not as bright – it’s more dull. The purple is also lighter and appears more like a pink rather than a purple because of it’s lightness. The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not nearly as dark or green as the fifth photo shows. This watercolor appears soft and dusty and not as bright as the last three photos. It has a mix of different dusty turquoise blues, minty/lime greens, icy purples, mauve and hints of yellow-green.. Please email with any questions before ordering. Thanks!
