    The actual fabric is a little bit more cream colored in the back ground than what shows on my screen. The dots have different colors of gray as well as some green-tan colors in them. The undertone of the fabric is green appears to contain very little blue. It also matches the Sticks N Stones collection fairly well in addition to the green side of Silverado Canyon. The third photo shows the light rusty-red color that appears within the light cream background and throughout the entire bolt of fabric – this color is not a manufacturers defect and is supposed to be there.

    885-173 Smoke Bali Dots

    This fabric is similar to the Smoke Bali Dots but is slightly more blue in the color undertone than the Smoke Bali Dots.

    The fabric is definitely a medium to dark gray with very light hints of blue undertone and even less of a gray-purple undertone in places. It is not at all blue-gray like the third photo shows.

  • Hoffman California – 1895-176 Ice – Watercolor Batik Fabric

    In person this fabric appears very close to the first two photos and is not as dark and the glowing light is not nearly as saturated as it shows in the third photo. This fabric is mostly a soft, light gray with small hints of a warm color of light peach that is very light – it does not show much within this fabric.

    This is a lighter version of Hoffman 1895-270 Hippo.

    The actual fabric appears closest to the first two photos and not quite as muted as the last photo shows. The peachy-pink color in the fabric has a little bit of a punch to it and can be strong in some areas. The gray color in the background has a blue tint to it that varies from a bluer color to a grayer color throughout the fabric where it melds with the flesh-toned color.

    UPDATE 2/20/24: The most current dye lot of this fabric is closest to the first two photos but reads a little bit darker than what I see on my screen. This medium-dark gray color has a slightly warm/tan/red undertone but is still close to a neutral gray color. It’s not as blue toned as the last three photos.

    The first two photos are ones that I took and the last photo is the manufacturers thumbnail image. The actual fabric appears closest to the first two photos in color and shade but is just slightly more saturated/darker (but not as dark at the third photo). This gray/white fabric has small areas of a warm sugar cookie beige. It also has very small tints of a blue gray mixed in with it, creating a mostly cold with some warm patches of color.
