It has a very light watercolor design in it that is very mellow and helps to give this fabric some depth. It is almost a solid red, but it isn’t.

The dots are approx. 1/4″ in diameter. The gray background has areas of yellow mixed into the gray that look like the edges of a water stain on a countertop. The gray is very close to neutral but has a slight hint of green undertone to it – just very slight.
