The actual fabric appears closest to the first two photos and is not as cold or as dark as the third photo. I can see definition of the basket weave design clearly in person. The fabric has very dark brown areas that almost appear completely dark brown to the point of not seeing the weave design. This brown is on the warm side and very dark, but not black in any of the areas.

This dye lot has a blue cast in the Pineneedle green color. It’s not as dark, rich or as green as the last photo shows. It has a dry, dusty and somewhat muted appearance. The third photo shows a comparison of the previous Pineneedle WB (left) compared to this current bolt (right). CLICK HERE to see the older dye lot.

This is an older dye lot that has the Christmas green color in it. It’s not as dark as the manufacturers (last) photo shows, but still has a rich green that matches other “Pineneedle” colors from Island Batik. The newer dye lot (Click Here) has a blue cast and is not as green as this one. It is closest to the first two photos and is also featured in the third photo on the left side as compared to the new dye lot (third photo, right side).
