UPDATED: The newest bolt of this fabric is much lighter, cleaner and less muddy than photos 3-4. The previous bolt had a green undertone (photos 3-4) and is no longer available. The first two photos are what you will be receiving. The fabric is light with medium gray areas that have a silvery (gray-blue) as well as a warmer (ivory) undertone in them. This fabric reminds me of the color of fog. Photo 5 is a group photo of the Bodacious Black collection.

The actual fabric is a light warm baby banana yellow color. It’s not quite a cold or as green or as drab as the third photo and has a bit of a brightness to it. It’s definitely a yellow more that it is a neutral color. The closest color I have to Linen is IB Butter Feathers (Butter Feathers has a slight green undertone where Linen does not). It’s not really a “cream color” and is fairly solid in the yellow tone. These light colors are very difficult to photograph and if you need additional help with this color, please contact me directly. Thanks!

**PLEASE READ: Update 12/26/22: The first two photos are the most recent bolt of this fabric that contains more of the dark gray-blue color and less of the lighter aqua color in it. The third and fourth photos are the previous bolt of fabric. The colors are still very close in their shade/tone. The small pink-purple areas are slightly stronger in person than what shows in the photos. This fabric does not look nearly as dark as the fifth photo (manufacturers thumbnail image).

UPDATE: 6/27/23: The current bolt of this fabric featured in photos 1 & 2 is much more pastel, muted and dusty looking than previous dye lots (previous bolt is shown in photos 3 & 4). The dusty colors have an antique look to them and the main turquoise in the fabric is not as bright – it’s more dull. The purple is also lighter and appears more like a pink rather than a purple because of it’s lightness. The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not nearly as dark or green as the fifth photo shows. This watercolor appears soft and dusty and not as bright as the last three photos. It’s a fluffy/whipped color that appears a little bit lighter than the first two photos. It also has more defined areas of green in it that can be seen in person that does not show up in the photos. It’s a lighter version of IB’s Chameleon and with less green in it.

The current bolt of fabric looks like the first two photos that contains more green. The third and fourth photos are the previous dye lot which had more blue in it. This fabric is not as dark or as green as the last (manufacturers) photo shows. The tint of this fabric has strong color in it but it is not florescent or really bright as it may appear on some screens. This fabric has a bright medium-light minty-peridot turquoise-green color mixed with a light teal blue color. The green covers about 75% of the fabric while the turquoise blue covers about 25%. This is a light version of IB’s Parakeet fabric.

This fabric is almost an identical match to IB’s Bermuda Basic watercolor except one shade lighter. It has both a teal green and teal blue swirling mix of color and is strong and somewhat bright.

NOTE: The current dye lot of this fabric is not as saturated as the photo shows and it has more highlights (lighter turquoise blue) areas that create a little more contrast than the previous dye lot did that was more solidly colored.

UPDATE 03/18/23: The current fabric dye lot looks like the first two photos and is not green or bright as the last photo. The new dye lot has more beige/tan, less green, a bit more yellow undertone and the turquoise edges on the watercolor areas stand out more than the previous dye lot (photos 4 and 5). The third photo has the previous dye lot on the left and the current dye lot on the right. This fabric has a mix of warm light colors in it that are mostly mellow and non-contrasting through most of the fabric. However there are some areas with stronger yellow-green and brighter turquoise blues in it.
