    UPDATE 11/27/23: See the first two photos: The latest bolt of this fabric is more “muddy” looking and has mauve and green colors that are more muted. There is brown where the mauve and green meld together. This color should be green but it appears more brown in many areas. Most of this fabric is still mauve with only 25%-45% green areas – depending on the cut. The colors are spread out in large areas across this fabric.

    The first two photos are ones that I took and the third photo is the manufacturers thumbnail image. There are variations in the batik colors because they are hand dyed. I have matched the colors as closely as possible to my computer screen, but they may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. If you’re unsure about the true color, please contact me directly.     This fabric is very saturated with distinct red and fuchsia colors in it. There is less melding and more distinction when seeing this fabric in person. The red is a rosy orange-red and the fuchsia is closer to purple than it is pink. A very pretty punch color.

    This is a reference to show the variations in the batik colors. The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not quite as pink as the third photo, although close. This fabric is a saturated fuchsia color with undertones of pink and purple.

    ***UPDATED 12/05/22: The latest dye lot of this fabric is featured in the first two photos. Photos 3 and 4 are older dye lots in which the fabric appears much more fuchsia purple, lighter and with less teal in it. The most current fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is much darker with less purple and more teal and gray in it. It’s more jewel toned than previous dye lots and includes hints of lagoon blue dark mint green and warm and cold indigo colors.

    The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not as bright or saturated as the third photo. This fabric is a deep medium fuchsia color that is on the warm magenta side of purple. It seems too purple to be considered a dark pink but it is in between and has a very warm undertone.
