This fabulous quilt is made using 2.25″ strips, not just any strips, Ombre Strips!
The quilt is made with one Ombre Fairy Dust Jelly Roll for the Ombre in the blocks and the binding.
There are 2 fabrics for the background, Off White Fairy Dust and Heather Thatched, both from Moda.
The Ombre fabrics give the quilt that wonderful illuminating effect.

The actual fabrics appear closest in color to the first three photos and is not as green toned as the last photo shows. This fabric is a medium-dark color with a very slightly warm green undertone that is close to a middle-true gray. There’s not a lot of color variation in the fabric so it appears even and saturated. It almost looks like a light washed-out black but there are no highlights (as sometimes there is with a black watercolor).

The first two photo is ones that I took and the second photo is the manufacturers thumbnail image. This is a reference to show the variations in the batik colors. The actual fabric looks closest to the first photo photo and is not as purple or dark as the second photo. This fabric has both pink and purple with purple being the dominant color. But there is definitely a bubble gum pink in the mix (hard to see this in the photo).
