Monty is a fun-loving, playful Manatee (or Dugong to us Australians!) who loves lolling around munching away on sea grass. There’s something adorable about these “sea cows” but personally I don’t think they’re pretty enough to be mistaken for mermaids! Monty is a is a quick and easy pattern which will look great in all sorts of colours, not just manatee-grey!

    The actual fabric looks closest to the first four photos although not as dusty/dark as the last photo. I have taken a phot of each side of the bolt of fabric to show how the stripes are laid out. Across the width of the fabric there are three black stripes and three gray stripes. This fabric has a blue tinge with a few yellow areas in it. It’s not as soft/dusty looking as the manufacturers (last) photo. This fabric often has hints of yellow in it where the dark gray meets the light gray.

    The actual fabrics appear closest in color to the first three photos and is not as green toned as the last photo shows. This fabric is a medium-dark color with a very slightly warm green undertone that is close to a middle-true gray. There’s not a lot of color variation in the fabric so it appears even and saturated. It almost looks like a light washed-out black but there are no highlights (as sometimes there is with a black watercolor).
