The first four photos are ones that I took and the fifth photo is the manufacturers thumbnail image. This is a reference to show the variations in the batik colors. The current fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not as dry or cold brown as the fifth photo or as saturated as photos 3 and 4. This mottle has has warm rusty colored browns, oranges, and pinks in it. The darker cold brown has a slight purple undertone.
***PLEASE READ: UPDATE 07/30/23: The latest bolt of this fabric is brighter, more saturated and with more distinct areas of color in the fabric, like the first two photos show. It also has more white in the fabric like the 3rd and 4th photos show. This bolt of fabric is not as soft and overall the has a little bit more pink coloration in it.

This fabric is not dark like the last (manufacture’s) photo and has a slightly dry/muted/warm-tawny color to it. The background perhaps has a slight undertone of purple in it with a mix of another brown that appears slightly green in cast – These are very minor color observations.

UPDATE: The current dye lot of this fabric is pictured in the first two photos. It is much darker with a red undertone than the last bolt I had (photos 3-4) The purple that comes through on my screen isn’t as pronounce in person – it’s more muted and dusty. The brown has a strong sepia (warm) tone and there are hints of desert green in the mix.

The background was a warm dry pink and gray color with dry milk chocolate brown dots ranging up to a light creamy color.

***PLEASE READ: The first two photos are updates for the latest bolt of this fabric. It’s colder and it appears when they made it, they forgot the orange color. There is primarily yellow and brown in this fabric. While it’s still on the warmer side of the color wheel, it’s not as warm as the previous fabrics. The color in this Ombre varies quite a bit from neutral to warm in both the yellow and the brown. These two photos are shown 1/2 WOF (as if looking at it on the bolt in the store).
There are 3 main stripe colors in this fabric and each color repeats three times per WOF. There is a warm-rustic golden brown stripe, a lighter-warmer burnt orange/brown stripe, and a golden yellow stripe. Then it repeats back to the darkest brown again.
