The most accurate representation of each fabric color in the Heavy Metal collection is in the second photo. 

This fabric has more of a denim indigo blue and purple color like what the second photo shows with less of a green tint like in the first photo.

A Signature Collection by Kathy Engle for Swan Sheridan of Swan Amity Studios

The first photo is the manufacturers thumbnail image and the second photo is one that I took of Island Batik’s Heavy Metal Collection.

There are variations in batik colors because they are hand-dyed. The actual fabric may look slightly different in color and fabrics are usually lighter/brighter in person than what appears on the computer screen. If you would like further color assistance, please contact me directly. I’m happy to help.

Price is per 1-yard quantity. Fabric sold will be a single continuous cut off the bolt. This fabric is 100% cotton. 42″ – 44″ WOF.

This fabric is a deep medium fuchsia color that is on the warm magenta side of purple. It seems too purple to be considered a dark pink but it is in between and has a very warm undertone.

    The most current dye lot of this fabric is featured in the first two photos. It has a golden peach background with mauve and fuchsia colors mixed into the fabric with hints of turquoise green. There is much less turquoise in this fabric than in previous dye lots and the main colors are peach-orange and mauve-pink.

    NOTE: The actual fabric looks closest to the first two (sometimes four) photos and is not as bright as the fifth photo. The fabric background is mostly a pastel pink, yellow, and blue coloration, but sometimes has the rest of the rainbow colors too. The swirling dots on top are in all 6 of the main rainbow colors in a soft, pastel tone. I go through a lot of this fabric and the colorations of it will change between bolts as well as from yard to yard. These are hand dyed and with so many colors throughout, it can often vary widely. This fabric will also often have soft gray tones where the colors meld together.
