The first photo is the manufacturers thumbnail image. The second photo is one that I took and is the best representation of the actual colors in this collection. Fabrics typically run lighter in person than they appear on my computer screen (third photo) using the manufacturers thumbnail image.
This Smokey Mountain collection generally appears warmer in person (second photo) than the manufacturers images appears (first and third photos).
This fabric appears pretty accurate in person as compared to my screen. The fabric really is very dark and appears close to black in the background. The hollyberries are hard to see on top because the colors are so dark. The dark blue background color is a royal navy color that is so dark it appears partially black. This is a very pretty fabric that would work well as a background, border, or accent fabric.

The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not nearly as bright or saturated as the third photo shows. This fabric has a medium magenta background that’s slightly dusty appearing. The tropical fish and bubbles are in turquoise blues, blues, greens, and indigo.

The actual fabric looks lighter, happier and a little bit more turquoise than all three of the photos. It was very difficult to get a decent blue color in the photo of this fabric because the color is very strong. This turquoise blue is a pretty clean colored blue.

*** The first two photos have been updated to reflect the most recent bolt of fabric that is now being cut. It’s more mottled and with smoother lines. There is no blue in this fabric and I would consider it a warm colored purple. The newest bolts of this fabric are slightly lighter than the first two photos. The previous bolts of this fabric are not pictured as the fourth and fifth photos.
