The first and third photos are the manufacturers thumbnail images. The second photo is one that I took and is the best representation of the actual colors in this collection. This collection is warmer than the manufacturers thumbnails show. It’s a creamy, almost slightly peach, tan color with a range of denim and lake blues. The light ivory colors are so well done. The whole collection is relaxing and soft to look at.
The first, second and fourth photos are ones that I took and the third and fifth are the manufacturers thumbnail image. The second photo is the view looking at the fabric as wrapped on the bolt and not WOF. There are variations in the batik colors because they are hand dyed. I have matched the colors as closely as possible to m computer screen, but they may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. If you’re unsure about the true color, please contact me directly. I’m happy to help.
The actual fabric looks like to the first two photos and is not as dark as the third photo shows, nor does this fabric have any of the burnt orange/brown color in it. The yellow is soft with a green undertone in it and the very muted green and blue colors that are in the background are delicate with hints of medium gray in it. Some of the “splash” design has a darker denim blue color in it. This fabric also has very soft and light hints of a pink-ish red/brown color that is sporadic in the background swirling colors. This warm color is very light and muted and is sometimes not present at all in areas. This fabric does not have any of the strong brown/rusty orange color that the third (manufacturers) photo shows. It’s primarily a celery green, dusty blue and mellow yellow (haha!) color.
The fourth photo is an accurate portrayal of the Mariners collection.

The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not nearly as bright or saturated as the third photo shows. This fabric has a medium magenta background that’s slightly dusty appearing. The tropical fish and bubbles are in turquoise blues, blues, greens, and indigo.

*** The first two photos have been updated to reflect the most recent bolt of fabric that is now being cut. It’s more mottled and with smoother lines. There is no blue in this fabric and I would consider it a warm colored purple. The newest bolts of this fabric are slightly lighter than the first two photos. The previous bolts of this fabric are not pictured as the fourth and fifth photos.

The actual fabric appears closest to the first two photos and is not as teal green or as muddy as the last photo shows. There are areas of lime green, cold and warm purple and medium and dark turquoise blue with gray color where the areas meld together. The Aboriginal snake design on top is in the same/lighter color scheme.
NOTE: This fabric has white streaks throughout it about every 1/2-yard. Some of it lightens when water is used to remove these areas, but it doesn’t disappear entirely. This may be a detergent that was used during the batik making process. Please be away that this is will likely be present on fabric that is purchased. See lighter/white streak that runs through the middle of the first two photos.

This fabric is not as bright in person as it shows on my screen. It’s more muted.

The most current dye lot of this fabric is featured in the first two photos. It has a golden peach background with mauve and fuchsia colors mixed into the fabric with hints of turquoise green. There is much less turquoise in this fabric than in previous dye lots and the main colors are peach-orange and mauve-pink.

The actual fabric looks lighter, happier and a little bit more turquoise than all three of the photos. It was very difficult to get a decent blue color in the photo of this fabric because the color is very strong. This turquoise blue is a pretty clean colored blue.
