  There are variations in batik colors because they are hand-dyed. The actual fabric may look slightly different in color and fabrics are usually lighter/brighter in person than what appears on the computer screen.   The actual fabric looks lighter, happier and a little bit more turquoise than all three of the photos. It was very difficult to get a decent blue color in the photo of this fabric because the color is very strong. This turquoise blue is a pretty clean colored blue.

  *** The first two photos have been updated to reflect the most recent bolt of fabric that is now being cut. It’s more mottled and with smoother lines. There is no blue in this fabric and I would consider it a warm colored purple. The newest bolts of this fabric are slightly lighter than the first two photos.
