Liberty Court is a fabulous combination of Liberty Lemoyne Stars and Court House Steps Blocks. This Medallion Style Quilt offers four different sizes and settings in which the Court House Steps Blocks create a frame(s) that feature two sizes of beautiful spinning Liberty Lemoyne Stars. The cover Liberty Lemoyne showcases Island Batik’s Garden Gems fabric line. Liberty Court comes together easily with Studio 180 Design’s Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star™ and Tucker Trimmer III™ tools.

    The actual fabric looks lighter, happier and a little bit more turquoise than all three of the photos. It was very difficult to get a decent blue color in the photo of this fabric because the color is very strong. This turquoise blue is a pretty clean colored blue.

    The first and last two photos are ones that I took and the third photo is the manufacturers thumbnail image. This is a reference to show the variations in the batik colors. The second photo is the view looking at the fabric as wrapped on the bolt and not WOF. If you’re unsure about the true color, please contact me directly. I’m happy to help.

    The latest bolt of this beautiful fabric is more pastel than it appears in the last three photos. The tones are softer and include turquoise blue, banana yellow, indigo, plum purple, fuchsia pink, grape purple, shamrock/lime green, teal green, and a melded brownish color where some of the colors run into each other. This is a gorgeous fabric in person!

    The last two photos are examples of a quilt that I made using this fabric. The last photo shows the backing (same fabric as in the border) showing through the front of the white quilt background with sunlit backlighting – making a stained glass effect.

    ***UPDATED 12/05/22: The latest dye lot of this fabric is featured in the first two photos. Photos 3 and 4 are older dye lots in which the fabric appears much more fuchsia purple, lighter and with less teal in it. The most current fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is much darker with less purple and more teal and gray in it. It’s more jewel toned than previous dye lots and includes hints of lagoon blue dark mint green and warm and cold indigo colors.
