“Kiri the Kiwi” Stuffed Animal Sewing Pattern
By Pauline McArthur
For Funky Friends Factory
Finished size: 11” (30cm) from beak tip to tail, sits 7” (18cm) tall
This cute little Kiwi Bird is named after the famous New Zealand opera singer Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. I think her mum is hoping she will sing beautifully when she grows up but so far she can only squawk! Kiwis, are rather odd birds because they cannot fly! (they have wings but they are tiny and useless), they are about the size of a chicken but their eggs are 6 times bigger, and they have nostrils at the end of their beaks!
Difficulty Level: 3 of 6 (Intermediate)
All sales final on patterns and books.
