The first photo is the manufacturers thumbnail image. The second photo is one that I took and is the best representation of the actual colors in this collection. Fabrics typically run lighter in person than they appear on my computer screen (third photo) using the manufacturers thumbnail image.
This Smokey Mountain collection generally appears warmer in person (second photo) than the manufacturers images appears (first and third photos).
This fabric is more blue than the first photo shows and is not as teal or green looking. The background is a medium navy/denim blue color with some darker shade of the same color mixed into it. The pinecones are a lighter version of the same navy/denim blue with medium brown highlights (some are rust colored) on the pines and pinecones. There are very small hints of green every once in a while in the pinecone design. Overall this fabric is a medium navy blue with no green undertone as it shows in the first photo. See second photo, sixth from the left for the best color for this fabric.

The actual fabric looks lighter, happier and a little bit more turquoise than all three of the photos. It was very difficult to get a decent blue color in the photo of this fabric because the color is very strong. This turquoise blue is a pretty clean colored blue.

***UPDATED 12/05/22: The latest dye lot of this fabric is featured in the first two photos. Photos 3 and 4 are older dye lots in which the fabric appears much more fuchsia purple, lighter and with less teal in it. The most current fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is much darker with less purple and more teal and gray in it. It’s more jewel toned than previous dye lots and includes hints of lagoon blue dark mint green and warm and cold indigo colors.

There is no blue in this fabric and I would consider it a warm colored purple. The newest bolts of this fabric are slightly lighter than the first two photos.
