This plum colored batik is deep, rich and evenly toned. It doesn’t have strong variation so it has a smooth rich and saturated color. I can almost describe it as a blackberry sorbet color – yum! Depending on your monitor, this fabric looks just a little bit darker and richer than the computer screen thumbnail photo. It’s still a bright fuchsia color but very jewel toned with depth to it. I almost call this a wine color but it’s a little closer to red grapes because it’s got that hint of purple in it instead of being a “red.”
