Hoffman California – 884-695 Bumble Bee – Bali Sunflower – Batik Fabric Blender – 9″ Remnant

The actual fabric is closest to the first two photos and is not as yellow as the last photo shows. There is only a small amount of yellow in this dye lot – most of the color seems to be a dry golden brown on a solid black background. The third photo shows a comparison of different dye lots: on the left is a previous dye lot that is more yellow and on the right is the current dye lot that is more brown. 

Quantity “1” is for the 1/4-yard remnant piece. This piece has a black dye line 3/4 of the way through the fabric from selvage to selvage. It may be the Tjap (chop) wasn’t lined up correctly and there is a space in the gold color. Discounted remnant from $3.15 to $2.40. The color in this remnant is closer to the lighter yellow in the 3rd and 4th photos – it’s not as dark gold as the first two photos.
