A Strip Club Pattern Designed for 2½” Strips!

This classic quilt shows off a coordinated line of fabric quickly and beautifully. It’s simple and effective.

Choosing Fabric: Choose a coordinated fabric line with your favorite neutral fabric as a background. It can also be made scrappy using a restful fabric as a background.

You can use fat quarters without additional piecing. One fat quarter or quarter yard cut will yield the equivalent of 3 strips.

    The actual fabric looks closest to the first two photos and is not as green, bright, or saturated as the third and fourth photos. The reds and greens in this fabric vary throughout the length. The red has different shades of red in each stripe from dark to medium and all have a pink undertone to them. The green stripes have a medium lime and a darker forest green. This fabric is known to have slight hints of blue in places and sometimes has inconsistent areas where the colors merge… part of what makes it unique and beautiful.

     

    UPDATE 11/26/23: The current bolt of this fabric is darker and has more red and looks closest to the first (manufacturer’s) photo.

    This fabric is vibrant and gorgeous with medium and dark orange and orange-red stripes in the Ombre. There are very small speckles of a purple/dark brown color across the Ombre. The red has a slight pink undertone in some areas, but it otherwise an orange-red. This fabric is often used in applique sunset backgrounds.

    The actual fabric appears closest to the first two photos and is not quite as rich as the last photo shows. This fabric often varies in color from dye lot to dye lot. It leans more towards the pink side and is not an orange-red, but is close to a true red.

    ***NOTE: This fabric often has a dry/dusty appearance to it. It’s usually not super saturated in color and is a more muted red.
