Most importantly, the indigo blue color in this fabric has a lot of purple in it and covers about 60% of the total fabric in most areas. There is less of the lime green and turquoise blue colors but both are also strong in the fabric. The third photo doesn’t show the darkest blue with as much purple in it like the first two photos do – this fabric definitely has the purple-blue color like the first two photos.

The fabric has a lot of gray mixed into it that is sometimes very dark in areas. The overall appearance is dusty and slightly muted and the blue color has a slight indigo undertone in it. The second photo of the 1/2 WOF appears to have a lot of gray in it. However, there are many areas where there is more blue in this fabric and less gray – it depends on the area that is current on the bolt of fabric.

In person this fabric appears slightly more saturated and more rich in color in the background, yet slightly lighter in the dark golden yellow ears of corn than it appears on my screen. The background has a lovely mix of very dark purples, blues, and greens. -

UPDATE: 7/21/23: This fabric has a dark teal green background with a navy blue undertone. The dots on top are more teal green than teal blue. The latest dye lot of this fabric is close to the manufacturers thumbnail image (photo 3). Photos 4-5 show the previous dye lot, which was much more blue. The blue fabric is no longer available; only the teal green that’s shown in the first two photos is available.
