This fabric is not quite as saturated in person than what appears on my screen but otherwise look pretty close to the true color. It’s a deep, rich peppery orange color that has small hints of brown and red-orange colorations in it. It’s mostly a bean color and is a little bit darker and more saturated than Cayenne.

The actual fabric appear lighter in color than it does on my screen. It’s a little bit more dusty in appearance too, but the rusty orange color is still rich. This fabric is a slightly lighter version of Hoffman Refried Beans and does not have the small colors of brown and red-orange in it that Refried Beans has. It’s all one color of orange.

UPDATE 11/27/23: See the first two photos: The latest bolt of this fabric is more “muddy” looking and has mauve and green colors that are more muted. There is brown where the mauve and green meld together. This color should be green but it appears more brown in many areas. Most of this fabric is still mauve with only 25%-45% green areas – depending on the cut. The colors are spread out in large areas across this fabric.

UPDATE 9/17/23: The current bolt of this fabric is featured in the first three photos. It’s not as saturated as previous dye lots and has more of the “melded” colors throughout… that gray-ish-tan color between the main colors.

This fabric is very saturated with distinct red and fuchsia colors in it. There is less melding and more distinction when seeing this fabric in person. The red is a rosy orange-red and the fuchsia is closer to purple than it is pink. A very pretty punch color.
