Botanica
by Jacqueline de Jonge
Size: 51” x 51”
Skill Level: 4
Pattern Includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, and All Foundation Papers.
This amazing design is the favorite of this year. It’s a brand-new design and Jacqueline has once again succeeded in creating a dazzling piece of art.
The design is a real challenge with so many parts in different shapes. The middle star is quite complicated and the beautiful leaf shape parts make it a real challenge.
Of course, one of the popular striped fabrics needed to be included in the design and blue-teal stripe color chosen fits perfectly.
The dazzling circle is made of flower bud-like parts which is in style with the beautiful center.

Amazing Grey
by Jacqueline de Jonge
Size: 71” x 71”
Skill Level: 5
Pattern Includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, and All Foundation Papers.
I guess it’s no surprise how Jacqueline got the name for “Amazing Grey”. She was working on the design of this quilt and found that black as background fabric did not really fit this design. And more white would be too much. So why not grey? That turned out to be a bull’s-eye. The grey complemented the Rainbow colours beautifully and gave this design a very special look.
And it’s something completely different
To quilt this design Jacqueline asked Becky Andreasen who quilted this quilt in a really beautiful way.
Kits are available upon request.
When Summer Ends
by Jacqueline de Jonge
Size: 63” x 63”
Skill Level: 3
Pattern Includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, and All Foundation Papers.
In contrast of the quilts and designs of the Rainbow collection, Jacqueline chose warm and deep colors for a Fall collection. “When Summer Ends” is hopefully the first of many in these warm and fuzzy colors.
The gorgeous fabrics used in this design are Anthology fabrics and a few of the 2015 fabrics Jacqueline designed.
It’s not a difficult design and it will be beautiful in any color combination.
All the credits for the stunning quilt work in this beautiful design goes to Cindy Glancy.
Carousel
by Jacqueline de Jonge
Size: 74” x 74”
Skill Level: 2
Pattern Includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, and All Foundation Papers.
This bright and colorful quilt is designed by Jacqueline and constructed by Bridget. This quilt is specially made for the beginner. This is what Bridget said about making this quilt: “I suggest every beginner to start with a design like this. It’s easy, it’s a pattern that repeats itself, and you can make it just as large or small as you want it to be.”
Adding the black and white is not difficult to do because Jacqueline can tell you it’s really very easy. Much easier than sewing all the pieces together without the stripes.
Elly Prins – machine quilting, from the Netherlands did the beautiful quilt work.

This is Jacqueline’s favorite design of 2019: “Lavender Fields”. She loves this design with the big beautiful leaf shape. It gives this design an elegant look but it’s the colors in this design that are the exact colors she loves so much.
The soft greens and blues with a touch of purples here and there makes this quilt into a picture.
This design would also be beautiful in other colors like yellow, orange and pink. Or in different shades of blue. There are plenty of variations!
Lynda Jackson of Capricorn Quilting (Sheffield, UK) has shown her talent in a great way.

Better Together
by Jacqueline de Jonge
Size: 50” x 50”
Skill Level: 2
Pattern Includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, and All Foundation Papers.
Better Together was the second quilt Bridget (a beginner) made. And this one was a joy to make. It was great to work with these gorgeous fabrics. And this design is just slightly more difficult than Carousel. What makes this quilt special is the bright and colorful pieces together with the gorgeous pastel colors. Those two combined make this quilt a joy to look at.
The lovely quilt work was done by Elly Prins – machine quilting, with the flowers and the dragon flies.
Serendipity
by Jacqueline de Jonge
Size: 69” x 68”
Skill Level: 4
Pattern Includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, and All Foundation Papers.
The gorgeous colors in this beautiful design are some of Jacqueline’s favorites. The soft peachy and pink shades flow into each other in a natural way. Jacqueline added some touches of brown to it and together they turn this traditional design into a breathtaking beauty.
This design is a variation of the double wedding ring quilt, a classic pattern. Beneath the wedding ring circles there’s that sophisticated checkerboard divided by her favorite black-and-white striped fabric.
Because of the motion in this design, Jacqueline added three beautiful borders to it, which makes this design stand out even better.
The talented Lynda Jackson, of Capricorn Quilting, Sheffield, UK, is responsible for the fabulous and detailed quilting of this gorgeous quilt.
Heaven's Light & Christmas Dreams
by Jacqueline de Jonge
Heavens Light Size: 35” x 35”
Christmas Dreams Size: 70″ x 35″
Skill Level: 3
Pattern Includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, and All Foundation Papers.
Every year Jacqueline had told herself that this is the time to make a new quilt for the holidays… and she finally did. She designed Christmas Dreams… It is a nice wall hanging or table runner. The six pointed star is so elegant when you turn the star points vertically. She has embellished the outside of the star with her favorite Swarovski’s and when the sparkles catch the light …. It is Christmas…
Once she had finished Christmas Dreams… she thought that this pattern would also be nice with only one star. Indeed it was a wonderful idea and she made this little wall hanging in a day. You start with the six star points and the small piano borders. It is not a difficult quilt and when you follow the instructions you will see how easy it is to cut the fabrics in a very fast way. If you have not enough time to make Christmas Dreams, and you want a small new wall hanging for the holidays, this is such a lovely quilt to make by yourself or with your friends or quilt bee. The patterns: Heavens Light and Christmas Dreams are both included in one pattern.
Square Dance
by Jacqueline de Jonge
Size: 72” x 72”
Skill Level: 4
Pattern Includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, and All Foundation Papers.
Jacqueline’s favorite quilt block: New York Beauty. Not only Jacqueline’s favorite but a lot of quilters love to make NYB blocks. You can do a lot with a block and it’s never boring.
The block itself has a lot of variations including the colors you use, the way you choose to make the spikes and the way you design the pattern.
Jacqueline worked her magic on this fabulous quilt. The colors are stunning and the tracks of black-and-white stripes are wonderful.
While she was working on this quilt, there were numerous variations to design them. One time she had them on her design wall as if the white points were evil eyes.
She thought black fabric would work well with these colors but it makes this design ‘heavy’. With the white fabric this design is fresh and light and a joy to look at.
The talented Cindy Glancy did some glorious quilting on this beauty.

Labyrinth is a new design for the 2017 collection, but also totally different than Jacqueline’s other designs.
You can call this quilt an adventure. Inspired by an antique tile floor, Jacqueline adjusted the original picture into this stunning modern quilt.
Choosing the batiks for this design was easy. Using all of her favorite batik colors complimented by her rainbow-with-a-stamp fabrics, she succeeded to make this quilt an eye catcher.
In the heart of every block you’ll see the black-and-white striped fabric coming back. It’s always there, Jacqueline’s signature fabric.
The border is impressive, all the colors used in this quilt are coming back in the striped border.
Fresh and modern are the words that come to mind when you see this beautiful quilt.

Years ago in 2007, Jacqueline designed “Springtime,” a lovely design in beautiful aquas and blues. This quilt pattern was a bestseller for years and because it came only with templates, Jacqueline decided to re-design this gorgeous quilt.
The color choices are just as beautiful as the original and with a few fabrics of her fresh designed batiks, it became a fabulous quilt. Even more pretty than the original.

Every year Jacqueline takes one of her ‘old’ designs and redesigns it in a new one. This time she used “Fly Away” and it was the inspiration for this beautiful quilt. The first edition was designed for the Hoffman Challenge in 2011 and Jacqueline won second place pieced with that beauty. The pattern was so successful that Jacqueline decided to re-design the original Fly Away into this glorious new quilt.

Size: 74” x 74”
Skill Level: 5
Pattern Includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, and All Foundation Papers.
Here she is: Imagine.
Jacqueline designed this quilt in 2017. It was her wish to design a quilt with lots of flying geese. And while she was sewing on it, the whole project came together and it flowed naturally.
She started with one of her favorites, the gorgeous center star. The first flying geese circle was quickly made and the pretty small stars were a perfect size to fit precisely between the two flying geese circles.
White batik for the inner circle and black for the outside and the borders. The beautiful corner parts as finishing touches complimented by her black-and-white signature fabrics.
Cindy Glancy has worked her magic with the stunning quilting.

The beautiful sharp points with the slightly curved spikes makes this design a challenge for everyone who’s not afraid of curves.
The little stars are a brilliant touch of color in the heart of the spiked curves.
